Windows 11

Homepage Hero

The client wanted a new hero for February 2022 on the topic of accessibility. They supplied a single screenshot of the Accessibility panel in Settings. I decided I wanted the screen to be placed inside some kind of hardware, so I scoured the Microsoft archive for some generic device renders.

Fortunately, I was already running an early version of Windows 11 on my own machine so I could see the panel in action. It turns out the color adjustment is done on the fly with hardware, so capturing an accurate before and after screenshot is impossible – Photoshop was used to simulate the effect.

With assets now in hand, it was time to dive into some animation. The heavy lifting was done in Adobe After Effects, and minor visuals were handled in Adobe Premiere Pro.
