.DRFT Keycaps
I just bought my second mechanical keyboard and I was getting immersed into all of the possible mods. While shopping for custom keycaps, I came across a site that lets you upload your own designs for a truly custom look. I downloaded their template and started on this one-off, custom design.
This is uncharted territory for me, so I thought of my interests and settled on something automotive.
Specifically, I honed in on my interest in track days and my very own Toyota MR2.
I added in some video game and anime references for that extra nostalgia, but I especially enjoyed coming up with the idea for Shift and Esc. In the middle of the process I noticed the proximity and order of the D•R•F•T keys. This inspired the name of the set – a perfect nod to the art of drifting.
